Rubi's Quests Tutorial

Hi, if you are reading this, I assume you want to learn more about this game and I'm here for it.
Firstly, the game is based on Rubik's Cube. Do not worry if you never hear about it. There are thousands of guides on internet to tell you how to play it. I would suggest to have basic knowledge, so that you don't feel stuck on this game.
Cube
Some terms used in the game and this tutorial need to be explained. The Cube refers to the 3x3x3 cube you will see in the center of screen. A cube has 6 faces (facing screen, back, left, right, up, down) and 27 little cubes (though the center is empty). You can rotate the whole cube by dragging from anywhere or by pressing w,s,a,d,q,e. You can also rotate any side (9 little cubes in the same plane), horizontally or vertically, by dragging the one you want. By these rotation, you will manage to move the images on little cubes around. The image is named Combo in the game here.
Combo
Next, the use of Combo is the way to defeat enemies. There are 6 kinds of Combo on the cube, shown by 6 different icons. You need at least 3 connected same Combo to use it by pressing Space. The more connected Combo, the more powerful it is. Suppose that one Combo is converted to one score, the least score is 3 for any combo to be used. When more than 6 Combos are used at once, a Large-Number multiplier is applied on the score you get, which is even larger if 9 Combos are used! Furthermore, one of the reward after defeating any monster is to add another layer of multiplier on any score you will acquire, making score efficiency even larger. The following explains each combo in detail.
- Attack: one score will deal one damage to unprotected enemy.
- Cast: Same effect as Attack. Specially, if Attack and Cast are activate at the same time, their score is summed together to utilize multiplier from any source.
- Defend: Grand damage reduction (DR) equal to (score / 10) %, which is consumed when attacked. However, the percentage is stackable as long as it is not consumed yet. The benefit is that the damage source will take their damage reflected times the percentage if the percentage is larger than 100%. For example, if the incoming damage is 10, you will take 7 damage when you have 30% DR; you take no damage and instead enemy take 15 when you have 150% DR. One point must be clarified, however, that the reflected damage is not influenced by DR and therefore does not consume it.
- Slow: Slow the enemy for 5 seconds per score, reducing their speed by half. By default, the enemy takes 10 seconds to move but extends to 20 seconds under this effect.
- Buff: Strength the next combo used by adding another multiplier (100 + score / 10)%. This multiplier is not stackable, so the max one stays whenever Buff Combo is used. The multiplier is consumed by the next Combo other than Buff right away, no matter if it is during same Space hit or the subsequent one. A tip is that Buff Combo is always executed first no matter what Combos are in the line.
- Random: Random will become one of the 5 combos above upon used.
Enemy
In addition, enemy has 4 different actions/abilities.
- Attack and Defend are same effects as the player Combo.
- Disturb: Enemy disturbs player by randomly rotating 3 sides.
- Stain: Enemy shoots obstacles blocking the visibility of Cube from player until enemy's next move.
Conclusion
I defeat more enemies each time I start the game during my numerous testing runs. A trick I found is that use any available Combos you get at any time unless you are preparing something big to come. The combos are recovered back really quick if you use them frequently. I barely wait for combos just being blank because I will use the accidentally connected ones during completing the cube. The first few enemies are easily defeated before I could partially complete the cube. Though, I hope you would discover a secret cube attack and enjoy it!
